Music, cinema and art are in mourning. The legendary artist David Bowie has just died at 69.
“David Bowie has died peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous 18-month battle against cancer”. Thus began the message of Duncan Jones son of David Bowie on social networks. “While many of you will share this loss, we ask to respect the privacy of the family during the time of mourning”, stated the director of films such as ‘Moon’ or the next premiere of ‘Warcraft’.
Another of the messages of Duncan Jones, by now only source of information about the sad owner of the entertainment industry of today, shows the sadness that overwhelms the family at this time. “I’m sorry I’m sad to say it’s true. I’ll be outside the network for a while. I love you all”.
With this abatement Duncan Jones showed his “radio silence” for logical mourning the loss of his father.
Last week David Bowie launched his new album, entitled ‘Lazarus’. With seven cuts that now constitute the point and end of his career in the music. One of the most extensive careers and full of successes in the world of music. A real legend that now stays already for the history.
David Bowie, rest in peace.
